This is by far the best book Corinne has ever written， and the fact that she was never going to publish it just astounds me。 The absolute heartbreak， the devastation， all the tears， I was just completely bombarded with emotions from the very first page， and it didn't let up until the very last。 In a word， this book is just utter perfection！Dr。 Serenity Adams is embarking on a clinical trial that could give women with ovarian cancer an actual fighting chance， and the potential to have children af This is by far the best book Corinne has ever written， and the fact that she was never going to publish it just astounds me。 The absolute heartbreak， the devastation， all the tears， I was just completely bombarded with emotions from the very first page， and it didn't let up until the very last。 In a word， this book is just utter perfection！Dr。 Serenity Adams is embarking on a clinical trial that could give women with ovarian cancer an actual fighting chance， and the potential to have children after the treatment is all said and done， meaning it's not between a hysterectomy and death。 Serenity is doing this not only for her patients， but for the disease that took her own mother's life long before she was able to save her。 She just never expected her past to come back in such a way that would make her question everything: her morals， her work ethic， the difference between right and wrong， and just how far she would go for those she loves。 I honestly can't say I wouldn't do the same if I was in Serenity's shoes， especially after all the losses she had previously that tipped her over her breakdown。 There's just no such thing as fair when it comes to cancer， and that disease destroys more than just the person it's inhabiting a the time -- it's the darkest of monsters alive， and I just totally understood why she did what she did。 There was a lot of similarities between what Serenity was going though， and the season 8 finale of Grey's Anatomy， where Meredith alerted the clinical trial。 （or maybe it was because I just recently saw that episode again！ lol） but I love how this book is all about the choices you make， and the consequences that come with said choices。 Every choice she did end up making set her on the right path in the long run， even though she had her share of heartbreak to deal with in order to be as happy as she was in the end。 I'm glad she had her HEA with the person I was hoping she would （no spoilers from me here！） I felt like he was the one who truly understood her， and truly appreciated just who she was then， and not who he wanted her to be。 I also love how this book wasn't solely a romance novel: this was about Serenity at it's core， and her journey to being fulfilled and happy in all aspects of her life。 To let go of her guilt about not being able to save her mother， to being the best doctor she could be， to being the best partner she could be。 It all revolved around her， and the choices she made。 This is one of the realest books Corinne has ever written， and it will stay with me forever。 This is truly a one of a kind novel。 I encourage you all to read it！！**I received an ARC of this book and these are my honest opinions！** 。。。more

This book took me on a emotional rollercoaster。 Tissues will be required！ At first I was like ehhh I don’t know if I like the girl but then I got to read how complex and flawed she was and how interesting that was for me。 To see an independent woman that doesn’t want to need anyone because she’s so afraid of losing her loved ones and Westin was just， the perfect guy every girl wants。 I loved the ending！
